Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married<\/a>. The pop star and Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> tight end tied the knot Friday night at Madison Square Garden in a star-studded ceremony officiated by actor Adam Sandler, Swift’s publicist Tree Paine confirmed. The news was signaled to fans by a marquee outside the Midtown Manhattan arena, which lit up around 7:30 p.m. ET with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!” \u2014 a play on the couple’s initials.<\/p>\n

The couple wore Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson, according to Paine’s statement, in what the designer called his “first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.” Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry. They did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen \u2014 Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her man of honor, and Travis’s brother Jason Kelce served as best man.<\/p>\n

Guests began arriving at Madison Square Garden through the drive-through tent shortly after doors opened at 3 p.m. Friday. Actors Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Banks, Ethan Hawke, Bradley Cooper, Eric Stonestreet<\/a>, Dakota Johnson, Jessica Chastain, Jason Sudeikis, and Zo\u00eb Kravitz were among those photographed arriving for the main event, along with models Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Suki Waterhouse, musician MGK, singers Benson Boone<\/a>, Ellie Goulding<\/a>, Jennifer Lopez, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Griff, and country stars Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, according to People<\/a>. British TV presenter Graham Norton<\/a>, whom Swift had jokingly invited during her 2025 appearance on his talk show, also made it in the door.<\/p>\n

From the sports world, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and wife Kelly, Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, Titans coach Mike Vrabel<\/a> and sports broadcasters Charissa Thompson<\/a> and Joe Buck were spotted arriving. Actress Mariska Hargitay<\/a> and husband Peter Hermann and author Glennon Doyle and wife Abby Wambach<\/a> were also on hand, per People. The Haim sisters \u2014 Este, Danielle and Alana \u2014 were seen heading into the venue as well. The dress code for the evening was black tie, according to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce’s guest list also drew a heavy contingent of entertainment industry executives, according to Variety, including Steven Spielberg, Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney Entertainment co-chair Dana Walden, Universal Music Group chairman Lucian Grainge and AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron.<\/p>\n

Among the first celebrity guests spotted arriving at the rehearsal dinner Thursday evening were Swift’s longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, according to People<\/a>. Actress Lena Dunham<\/a> was also photographed heading into the arena, along with model Gigi Hadid and actor Bradley Cooper, who arrived together in an SUV.<\/p>\n

Selena Gomez shared an Instagram video<\/a> of herself in the back of a car wearing a black lace gown, seemingly en route to the dinner. Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson<\/a> was spotted arriving in a golden gown, along with Swift’s longtime publicist Tree Paine and her close friend Ashley Avignone. Sports broadcasters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson were also photographed<\/a> at the venue, as was San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.<\/a><\/p>\n

The New York Times<\/a> suggested that a multiday event would take place at Madison Square Garden after confirming that Swift had rented it out. Per the outlet, Swift and Kelce planned to host an intimate gathering of about 100 guests on July 2, while their larger, glitzier celebration, with 1,000 rumored guests and possible stage performances, would take place on July 3. Swift and Kelce also reportedly filed a permit with New York City to close the streets around the arena from July 2-4.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Travis’s mother, Donna Kelce, touched down in New York on Thursday and headed straight to Madison Square Garden, per Backgrid photos published by TMZ. Travis’s childhood best friend Aric Jones was also on the guest list, according to People.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in New York, Norton and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge were spotted arriving in the city, according to The Sun<\/a>. Swift’s frequent musical collaborators Ed Sheeran and Aaron Dessner were photographed at an upstate New York restaurant, per E! News<\/a>, while Sabrina Carpenter was seen dining in the West Village, per the same outlet. Camila Cabello and Dua Lipa were photographed<\/a> leaving a New York City recording studio.<\/p>\n

Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw were among the reported performers at the wedding, according to Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple’s guests were required to sign non-disclosure agreements ahead of the event, and phones were reportedly banned inside the arena, according to Variety<\/a>. Rain began falling in New York shortly after the marriage was announced. Madison Square Garden itself lit up in a pinkish lavender color after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

While their guest list was sizable, Kittle claimed that Swift and Kelce had told him “absolutely no gifts.”<\/a> Of course, it’s unclear if everyone <\/em>who was invited honored the couple’s rule.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple’s Madison Square Garden festivities were first hinted at by NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch<\/a> in June, before New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani also appeared to confirm the plans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The “Actually Romantic” pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs superstar announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post in August 2025<\/a>. The couple, who had been dating for two years, garnered more than 37 million likes on their post, which included the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Swift spoke to Norton about the wedding in October 2025<\/a>. When asked if she’d keep the wedding intimate, Swift jokingly said that she planned to put “anyone I’ve ever talked to” on the guest list.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I’m so excited about it,” Swift told Norton. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan, because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble, and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
