M. Recto Ave. from Nicanor Reyes St. &#8211; Mendiola St.<br \/>Stretch of Legarda St. from Figueras St. &#8211; San Rafael St.<\/p>\n<p>LIWASANG BONIFACIO (4am onwards)<br \/>Stretch of Magallanes Drive from Jones Bridge &#8211; MacArthur Bridge<\/p>\n<p>AYALA BRIDGE (4am onwards)<\/p>\n<p>Eastbound lane of Ayala Blvd. from San Marcelino St. &#8211; Romualdez St.<\/p>\n<p>Several groups have started gathering at Liwasang Bonifacio early Thursday for the rally. Classes for both public and private schools have been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmanetwork.com\/news\/topstories\/metro\/993447\/walang-pasok-manila-mayor-class-suspension-due-to-protest-rally\/story\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">suspended<\/a> because of the protest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIVE UPDATES:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmanetwork.com\/news\/topstories\/nation\/993451\/live-updates-iglesia-ni-cristo-rally-at-liwasang-bonifacio-july-2-2026\/story\/?just_in=\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Iglesia Ni Cristo rally at Liwasang Bonifacio (July 2, 2026)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The crowd estimate in the area was 350 early Thursday, according to Bam Alegre&#8217;s report on Unang Balita, citing the Manila Police District (MPD).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B8uQaDa_byk?si=_DpPemovXqUgKCTo\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Authorities expect the number to grow throughout the day as those who attended the previous rally in EDSA will head to Manila after the Quezon City government decided <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gmanetwork.com\/news\/topstories\/metro\/993418\/quezon-city-permit-extension-iglesia-ni-cristo-rally\/story\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">not to extend<\/a> their permit to hold a protest at the EDSA-White Plains area.<\/p>\n<p>An INC minister told the protesters there the rally will be held at Liwasang Bonifacio on Thursday as the area does not require a permit to stage a program there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLilipat tayo para mairaos natin \u2018yung karapatan natin na ginagarantya ng Saligang Batas. Kaya mga kapatid, lilipat tayo sa Maynila, sa Liwasang Bonifacio,\u201d the minister said.<\/p>\n<p>(We are transferring so we can exercise our rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
